Seasonal Workshops
Enhance your training and prepare for key moments in the dance year with Adage Ballet Academy’s three signature workshops. Each program offers a focused approach to conditioning, technique, and performance skills, led by expert instructors who are dedicated to elevating every dancer’s artistry and strength.
Pre-Season Conditioning Workshop
Start the fall season with our Pre-Season Conditioning Workshop, a week dedicated to building flexibility, strength, control, stamina, and focus. Tailored for dancers of all levels, this workshop introduces physical conditioning techniques that enhance overall performance and promote injury prevention. Through classes in Physical Therapy Conditioning, Cardio, Calisthenics, Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Breathing Exercises, and Guided Relaxation, dancers will gain a deeper understanding of body awareness and coordination.

Led by Guillaume Basso (RYT 500), this workshop combines anatomy-focused conditioning and yoga for optimal balance, posture, and range of motion. Space is limited to 12 dancers for personalized attention.
Prepare for competition season and auditions with our Winter Variations Workshop, an intensive five-day experience offering 20 hours of training in Classical and Contemporary Variations, Ballet Technique, Pointe, Yoga, and Conditioning. Led by Academy directors Abby Jayne DeAngelo and Guillaume Basso, this workshop is perfect for dancers aiming to maintain peak form over the holiday break and expand their repertoire with both classical and contemporary choreography. Full attendance is required to ensure progression throughout the program.

Open to all currently enrolled students, as well as outside applicants ages 12+ with at least one year of pointe experience.
Spring Break
Workshop
For Intermediate & Advanced dancers, this pointe shoes & Partnering workshop is designed to develop pointe work and prepare dancers for summer intensives and end-of-year performances, the Spring Break Workshop offers a well-rounded program with an emphasis on technique, pointe, and partnering skills. Dancers will work on Physical Conditioning, Ballet Technique, Pointe, and Yoga, receiving targeted guidance to refine their skills and stay performance-ready.

This workshop runs for five days. Space is limited to maintain small class sizes and focused, individual instruction.
Each of these workshops provides dancers with a unique opportunity to grow technically and artistically, preparing them for key performance and audition periods throughout the year. Whether building foundational strength before the season, refining repertoire for auditions, or enhancing pointe work and partnering, Adage Ballet Academy’s seasonal workshops offer the high-quality training dancers need to excel.
